The Equality Act 2010
In line with specific duties that must be in place for schools and Local Authorities by April 2012, we have collected a range of information showing how we are meeting the three aims of The Equality Acty 2010 to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations in relation to age (as appropriate), disability, ethnicity, gender, religion and belief and sexual identity.
Our equality objectives, which are aligned with our School Improvement Plan, are based on the information we have obtained, including feedback from pupils, parents and staff.

Equality and Inclusion in Action
At St.Bridget's we have invested in a number of books for each year group with messages of inclusion and equality. They allow teachers to broach some of the issues that children face in modern society in an age appropriate way.
