Geography
Intent
At St Bridget's we aim to equip the children with the skills and knowledge outlined in the National Curriculum (below) through memorable and engaging lessons and experiences - both in the classroom and outside.
Implementation
Below is our long term plan. Every topic includes at least one lesson of fieldwork. Each year group will also go on a geography based trip at some point in the year.
Impact
Our children leave each key stage with the skills, knowledge and wonder required to understand and explore the world around them. Their knowledge expands from an understanding of our school grounds and local area to a knowledge of our country and the wider world.
