My name is Miss Owen and I have the great pleasure of teaching Year Four. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning with the children supported by Mrs Wright.

On this page you will find lots of important information and photographs of the exciting things that we will get up to in class. It will also be updated regularly with class news and links to websites that you may find helpful to support your child's learning.

Should you have any questions, worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to come in and see me or email me anna.owen@stbridgetscps.co.uk

I look forward to working in partnership with you to help your child achieve their best.

School day

Magic Breakfast will be available for the children from 08:35 when our door opens.
Registration will then take place at 08:45.
School ends at 15:15 and the children should be collected outside Year Four's classroom door.

The children are encouraged to bring a water bottle in daily and a healthy snack if you wish.

PE

Year Four will have P.E every Tuesday and Thursday. Children should come to school in the correct PE uniform. Plain white t-shirt/polo, plain black leggings, joggers or shorts, plain black jacket/school jumper (no logos on PE uniform). Children must also take their earrings out to participate in the lesson. If your child is unable to remove their earrings themselves, please ensure this is done before the start of school.

Reading & Spelling

Spellings and reading are an important part of your child's homework. We read in class 4 times a week and complete a reading comprehension. We also have 3 spelling lessons a week. Your child should bring in their spellings every Friday and their reading book which has been read 3 times.
