My name is Mrs Strogen and I have the great pleasure of teaching EYFS. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning with the children supported by Miss Kershaw,Mrs Lalaj and Miss Green

On this page you will find lots of important information and photographs of the exciting things that we will get up to in class. It will also be updated regularly with class news and links to websites that you may find helpful to support your child's learning.

Should you have any questions, worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to come in and see me or email me  j.strogen@stbridgetscps.co.uk

I look forward to working in partnership with you to help your child achieve their best.

School day

Magic Breakfast will be available for the children from 08:35 when our door opens.
Registration will then take place at 08:45.
School ends at 15:15.

The children are encouraged to bring a water bottle in daily. We provide fruit for the children as a snack.

PE

EYFS will have P.E every Thursday and Forest school on a Friday. Children should come to school in the correct PE uniform. Plain white t-shirt/polo, plain black leggings, joggers or shorts, plain black jacket/school jumper (no logos on PE uniform). Children must also take their earrings out to participate in the lesson. If your child is unable to remove their earrings themselves, please ensure this is done before the start of school.

For forest schools they will need wellies and waterproof clothing.

Phonics and Spelling

For phonics and spelling we will continue to follow the Little Wandle scheme. You can access free parent support via the Little Wandle website if you wish to do so and we will also be happy to offer any additional support you may need in order to aid your child’s development throughout EYFS
