Warrington Arts Award 2020

St Bridget's were awarded with the 'Warrington Arts Award 2020' for showing a commitment to the Arts.

Competition Winners

St Bridget’s were the winners of the Alpsit Assemble Art competition! (July 2021)

What did we win? A day of art workshops for every class in the school worth over £1000. The children had the opportunity to play instruments, sing and dance with professionals to create a whole-school perfomance on the field.

Primary Arts Network

St Bridget's participated in the 'Primary Arts Network' expedition (PAN) 2020.

The theme was 'Same but Different'

All of the children created a piece of art to celebrate difference and equality.

Year 1

Year 1 children have created a collage representing who they are. Every jigsaw piece is unique but they all belong together.

Year 2

Year 2 children have created a moving picture of a love heart. The love hearts have been decorated with flags from around the world. This shows how we accept and celebrate different cultures.

Year 3

Year 3 children have created a coat of arms to represent them. They have decorated each section with images and symbols with a meaning.

Year 4

Year 4 children have drawn two hands making a heart shape, the hands symbolise different ethnicities.

Year 5

Year 5 children have drawn self-portraits on a water coloured background. St Bridget’s teaches you to… Be yourself, accept yourself, be confident and kind.

Year 6

Year 6 children have used chalk pastels to create an image of a dove. Doves represent peace, peace is powerful.
